Daniel being the secretary of IAHD had completed his scuba diving course in 1983 but was not actively participated since scuba diving had been considered a luxury sport, hence he made an alternative to skin diving. With the popularity of scuba diving, Daniel involved in the activity again in 1996, and was certified as a PADI Instructor and subsequently an IAHD Instructor. Daniel was suffered from polio resulting in mobility, but that does not obstruct him from enjoying the fun of diving. He promotes and encourages other physically disabled people in diving by means of his personal experience and by joining IAHD to put this philosophy into practice.
